Reveries of a Violent Nexus

01

HOW FAR DOWN MUST YOU GO?

Further than you think.

To truly know and get past pain, you have to give yourself over to the feeling. Stare it in the face, and say no. For giving up is not always giving up - it is pushing forward even if it means you have to fall, time and time again, waiting for the perfect moment.

02

TIME IS A WINDOW.

On either side you can find both pain and beauty - what is seen can differ or change depending on when you’re reflecting back on it. The future and past are both unstably transcribed, and it’s up to you set them in stone for yourself.

You are the master of your emotional history. Do not let time best you.

AN OBLIGATION · · ·

It is no easy task committing one’s self fully to an unrevealed ideology.

It requires the mind, body, and soul to all be in alignment. Even if the new ideology fundamentally changes who and what you are; because true commitment alters who you are at the most infinitesimal level.

Even if that commitment ends up tearing you apart.

A PATH FORWARD · · ·

What does it mean to offer everything that you are for a goal? The ones you love, the material possessions you own, the

physical connections you have yet to make. All these pieces of what you were, left behind.

In the mirror, what stares back at you when your humanity has been sacrificed?

Reveries of Mutual Dualities

Illustrated by Nelandra

05

DUALITY · · ·

The balance between black and white, justice and injustice, the want to truly be seen or unseen.

We are stuck, entangled between these moments of equilibrium.

Biding time to see what comes next for the universe is infinite, and all is certainly uncertain.

06

THE BEGINNING AND THE END· · ·

The past and the future. Totality.

While our actions are foretold to be repeated, we can learn, adapt, and make changes. By enlisting the past in your present, shaping your future can become second nature.

But first, you must be accepting of the past.

THERE ARE EYES EVERYWHERE· · ·

Whether you can feel their presence or not, they are there. But be cautious, for these eyes are not always friendly, and more often, malicious.

Do not be alarmed; you have done this before, and will do it again. Go deeper, but do not let the eyes consume you, as you may find yourself in familiar crossroads of violence.
